The City of Parkland in Western Broward County is the location of a new development of homes touting the "Gables Estates" lifestyle. A planned development of pre construction houses featuring six styles of residences is being offered to home buyers. The model homes are titled Biltmore, Minorca, Monserrate, Prado, San Rafael, and the Sorrento. Ironically five of the six names chosen by the builder are actual streets in the City of Coral Gables. Sorrento is the only non Coral Gables street chosen by the builder. The advertisement accompanying the development reads as follows:
