Gables Estates calls upon members to actively join the Board of Governors for volunteers and input

Dear Club Member:

I trust you and your family are having a pleasant summer. Our annual meeting will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. at Fairchild Gardens. Please mark this date on your calendar, we would appreciate your attendance and input regarding community issues. Currently, very few members are participating in Club affairs. You will be receiving formal notification of the Annual Meeting shortly. Please note Kathleen will be away for most of the month of September, any sales business must take place either prior or after her leave..

The nominating committee will meet in late August to nominate five (5) Club members to serve on the Board of Governors for the next two (2) year term.

If you would like to serve on the Board of Governors or you can donate your time to one of our committees, please contact Kathleen at 305-248-7746.

We need members who are willing to participate in Club meetings and bring ideas for the betterment of our Community. Next year’s main items of concern the Board wishes to address will be a continuum of last year’s issues, including sticker enforcement of City Code & the Club’s Rules and Regulations, Enhancement of Security, Canal and Road improvements. We certainly look forward to hearing from anyone who would like to assist our community.
